These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TheraMap website at theramap.cy and the services provided through it. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What TheraMap is, and what it is not

TheraMap is an online directory and information service that helps users find health and wellness providers in Cyprus. We are a discovery and navigation tool only. We are not a clinic, a medical service or a healthcare provider, we do not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, and we do not arrange, supply or deliver medical care. Any decision about your health, or about which provider to use, is yours to make, and you should make it with a suitably qualified professional.

3. No medical advice

The listings, articles and other content on the site are provided for general information only and do not constitute medical, clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Content is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Always seek professional advice about your particular circumstances, and never disregard or delay it because of something you have read on the site. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact the emergency services immediately.

4. Information about providers

We take reasonable care to present useful information, but we do not create most of the underlying facts about providers, and we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete or current. A listing is not a recommendation, endorsement, or certification of any provider, and it does not confirm that a provider holds any particular qualification, licence, registration or insurance. You are responsible for checking a provider’s credentials, suitability and availability directly with them before you rely on or engage their services.

5. Dealings between users and providers

Any appointment, treatment, purchase or other arrangement you make with a provider is a matter between you and that provider. We are not a party to it. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct, advice, treatment, products or services of any provider listed on the site, and we accept no liability for any loss or harm arising from your dealings with them.

6. Listings, claiming and provider accounts

Some listings are compiled from publicly available sources. Providers can claim a listing to confirm, correct and complete their details, or ask us to amend or remove it. If you create or claim a listing or a provider account, you confirm that you are authorised to represent that business, and that the information you give us is accurate and kept up to date. We may edit, suspend or remove any listing at our discretion, for example where information is inaccurate, unlawful or in breach of these terms.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Providers may purchase subscription listings with additional features. Prices and features are as shown on the site at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our third party payment processor, and by subscribing you also accept that processor’s terms. Subscriptions renew and can be cancelled as described at the point of sale and in your account. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change our prices and features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that affect an existing subscription.

8. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, comment or other content, you must follow our Editorial Policy and Review Guidelines. You confirm that the content is your own genuine experience or work, that it is accurate and lawful, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or include another person’s private or health information. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use, publish, adapt and display that content in connection with the site.

Reviews reflect the personal opinions of the people who write them, not the views of TheraMap. We do not verify individual reviews and we are not responsible for user content. We operate a moderation policy and may decline, edit or remove content, but we are under no obligation to monitor everything that is posted. If you believe content is inaccurate or unlawful, please report it to us and we will consider it fairly.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

  • post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful;
  • impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your connection with one;
  • collect, scrape or harvest data from the site, or copy listings, without our written permission;
  • interfere with the security or proper working of the site, or introduce anything harmful; or
  • use the site or its content for any commercial purpose except as we expressly allow.

10. Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, graphics, logos and the selection and arrangement of its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or exploit any part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Third party links and services

The site may contain links to third party websites, providers and services, including partners from whom we may earn a commission. We provide these for convenience and do not control them. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or practices of any third party, and following a link is at your own risk.

12. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free or secure. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the site at any time without notice, and we will not be liable if the site is unavailable at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, or that the site is free of errors, viruses or other harmful components. Any reliance you place on the content is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheraMap, and its owners, officers, employees and agents, will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site or any content, or your dealings with any provider or third party found through the site. This includes, without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, and any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or loss arising from any health decision, treatment or outcome.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, or for fraud. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred euros.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or any content you submit.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the site, with the date shown at the top of this page. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction, except that this does not deprive you of any protection given to consumers by the mandatory law of the country where you live.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
